Unlimited train, underground, DLR, Tramlink and bus travel in London Zones 1 to 6

A London Travelcard is an excellent way to see the sights of London and offers unlimited travel in the Zones it’s applicable to.

Two types of London Travelcards are available; Off-Peak (valid after 09.30 Monday to Friday and all day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) or Anytime (no travel time restrictions) are valid on all train, underground, DLR (Docklands Light Railway), Tramlink and bus services within the Zones of validity (for bus travel, they’re valid throughout the Greater London Area, no matter which Travelcard you purchase).

Buying a London Travelcard on MyTrainTicket

If you’re travelling into London for the day, you may be able to buy a train ticket with an integrated Travelcard. If it is available with your ticket, it will appear in the journey planner as ‘London All Zones Travelcard’. Select this, rather than the station you’ll be arriving at (eg. London St Pancras). You can travel into any London station and travel around the capital as you wish, on your day of travel. Please note, if you are not returning on the same day, you will need to buy a Travelcard separately.

Otherwise, you can buy your Travelcard on the ‘Travel Options’ page.

London Travelcard prices

London Travelcard prices start at £8.90 for zones 1-6 Off Peak Travelcard and can be purchased as an add on to many rail journeys.

If you’re starting your journey from within the Network South East area (see map with London Zones – opens in a new window), you’ll often be able to get a Travelcard included within the train ticket, for a much better price than buying it separately.

For instance:

Cambridge – London Adult Off-Peak Day Travelcard valid on Greater Anglia (formerly Greater Anglia) costs £23.80 – saving £4.90 compared to buying a Off-Peak Day Return (£19.80) then a Travelcard (£8.90) separately

Guildford – London Adult Standard Class Anytime Day Travelcard costs £30.00 – saving £9.20 compared to buying an Anytime Day Return (£21.90) and Anytime Day Travelcard (£16.40) separately

National Railcard discounts also apply to Travelcards.
